Ambler Metals Statement on the Reissuance of Federal Permits for the Ambler Access Project

Anchorage, Alaska —October 23, 2025 — Ambler Metals today welcomed the federal government’s reissuance of right-of-way permits from the Bureau of Land Management, the National Park Service, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the Ambler Road.

“Ambler Metals is grateful that the permitting process continues to move forward. The Ambler Access Project is an important step toward responsibly developing the critical minerals that our nation depends on for manufacturing, infrastructure, and national security,” said Ambler Metals Managing Director Kaleb Froehlich.

“We appreciate the continued engagement of federal and state agencies, Tribal governments, and local communities throughout this process. Ambler Metals remains committed to advancing this project responsibly, with respect for Alaska’s people, environment, and unique way of life.”

“The Ambler Mining District holds some of the most significant known deposits of copper, zinc, cobalt, and other crucial minerals in the United States. Responsible access to these resources offers an opportunity to strengthen America’s resource independence while creating lasting economic benefits and good jobs for Alaskans.”

The Ambler Road is a proposed 211-mile, controlled industrial access road that would connect the Ambler Mining District to the Dalton Highway. This infrastructure is essential for the development of high-grade copper, cobalt, zinc, lead, and other critical minerals necessary for modern technology, energy systems, and national defense applications.
