Ambler Metals Gives Back
Ambler Metals recognizes that the well-being of the communities in which we operate is fundamental to all our long-term success. Ambler Metals is proud to actively provide corporate donations and sponsorships to events and programming that reflect the needs and values of the communities in Interior Alaska closest to our projects and associated infrastructure.
We have long recognized the importance and value of supporting local communities and charitable industry initiatives and are eager to formalize our process of offering support to initiatives that align with our corporate values and mission. These values are oriented around education, workforce development, safety, and community health, with a particular focus on the needs of local youth.
By engaging local stakeholders, Ambler Metals is seeking to strengthen livelihoods and create lasting benefits through youth programs, scholarships, search and rescue support, and other community-driven initiatives.
CATEGORIES FOR SUPPORT INCLUDE:
Donations – monetary support for an event or organization
Sponsorships – financial support for an event or industry initiative
Scholarships – support education (via our Ambler Metals / NANA Kuuvangmiut Scholarship Fund and beyond)
Equipment/Materials – tangible assets (gas, clothing, computers, truckload of gravel) with fair market value
Donation-in-Kind – Donation of time by the internal Ambler Metals team
HOW TO APPLY
Using our new application form , we welcome requests year-round on a rolling basis. Applications are reviewed in monthly increments, with requests evaluated after the close of business on the first day of each month and awards made available by the last business day of the month.
Please allow at least one month for consideration of your application before funds are needed.
While it is preferred that requests follow the process outlined here, short-turnaround donation requests will be considered under special circumstances.
